Illumine8 Marketing & PR Wins Communicator Award Of Distinction

Our office gets shinier every season! Illumine8 Marketing & PR won a 2018 Communicator Award of Distinction.

We submitted a content marketing offer for our client, Cochran & Mann, a commercial painting company in Frederick, Maryland, called Guide To Hiring A Commercial Painting Contractor.

Written by Kelly Jacobson and designed by Erik Pitzer, the submission was for Content Marketing eBooks under the Digital category and Online Advertising & Marketing subcategory.

“It's an absolute honor to be recognized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA),” Christina May, CMO and founder of Illumine8, said.

“This international award wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our amazing client and staff. We're excited to share another award with Cochran & Mann.”

Our win in "the largest and most competitive awards program" comes out of entries from top advertising and interactive "agencies, production firms, in-house creative professionals, graphic designers, design firms, and public relations firms across the globe," according to The Communicator Awards press release.

"We are extremely proud to recognize the work received for the 24th Annual Communicator Awards," said Derek Howard, director of the AIVA. "This year’s class of entries embodies the ever-evolving marketing and communications industry."

The AIVA is the panel of judges that includes 600-plus leading professionals from "various disciplines of the visual arts [who are] dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media," according to the press release.

"Current AIVA membership represents a 'Who's Who' of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms including PureMatter, Condè Nast, Disney, Republica, Sesame Workshop, MTV, Starbucks, Time Inc., Tribal DDB, Yahoo!, and many others."

“On behalf the Academy members, I’d like to applaud the entrants this season for their dedication to producing outstanding content as they continue to push the envelope of creativity,” Howard said.

Once again, thank you so much to the AIVA and Communicator Awards for choosing our guide out of thousands of entries from around the world. We look forward to working toward another statuette in the coming years!
